The next open weekend for The Barn Shoppe is this Friday and Saturday, July 24th + 25th, 10 AM – 4 PM.
The Barn Shoppe is a hidden treasure in Danby, 20 minutes north of the Dorset village green. Anne Carter curates a special selection of vintage clothing, furniture and homegoods for each of her sales. The theme and stock changes each weekend to keep it fresh for repeat visitors. Her affordable finds and boutique touch are not to be missed. We bought a few things and only spent $42.

Parking + Getting There
Don’t fear the dirt roads getting there. They are busy local roads and well-maintained. You’ll find plenty of street parking on the road in front of the entrance through the fence. Look for the sandwich sign on Tinmouth Rd. It’s out when they are open. Enjoy the view while you’re there.
Also, Tinmouth Rd is part of a winding, scenic route to Rutland from Dorset, whenever you’re looking for a cruise. Keep an eye out for a future post on that.
