North Star Pizza
Pizza, wings and weird bowling.
Hours: 11:30 AM – 10 PM

The sign over the bowling lanes at North Star Bowl, inside of North Star Pizza, instructs you to
“Relax, unwind and enjoy.”
And that’s what you’re gonna do.
Whether you’re just grabbing some pizza, wings or burgers to go, or sticking around to eat and bowl, this laid-back, no-frills throwback delivers. The wings are a stand-out and on our list of favorite wings in VT.
As a local spot to Mount Snow and the Bennington area, most people just stop by to take their pizza to go. But, it’s definitely a fun spot to have a drink, eat up and bowl in the winter cold.

North Star is one of the few places left in New England that have kept their Candlepin bowling lanes in working order. Candlepin bowling is a style unique to old New England and was “invented” in Worcester. They’ll give you a good rundown on candlepin bowling before you start. Be forewarned, its trickier than it looks. And that seems to be a good thing as it evens the playing field.
Along with their classic menu, they serve beer and wine at the bar and have a variety of arcade games lighting up the room.
