Sarah found this card at Twice Upon On A Time in Brattleboro. It’s a beautiful, serene, summer moment in ink (?) of the marble quarry in Dorset. The artist signature appears to be Terry Lindsey and another signature I can’t recognize. Maybe some knowledgable reader knows more?
If you haven’t been to the Dorset marble quarry, it’s beautiful to view anytime of year. Fun to swim in at the beginning of summer, but a little risky late in summer (especially if it’s a dry summer)… Great cliff jumping and, definitely, a scene on nice summer days.
editor’s note: this draft was written before yesterday’s bad news. Maybe ‘26 is doomed from the start, maybe it’ll turnaround?
